In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden group.
The questline centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Transformations
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
