Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
