The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
